This is a rules addition designed for the 2022 DURF Jam. The idea behind it is to have rules which add some nuance to social interactions in DURF while adding as little as possible to the mechanics and design ideas of the base game. The text is available here in case you want to modify it.
Like the base game, this module is made to be hacked, pulled apart and built on top of. It is licensed under Creative Commons (CC-BY 4.0) so you can share and adapt this material for any purpose, as long as you give attribution.
Credit of the cover image of this page, as well as the base game, goes to Emiel Boven.

Hello! I'm making a small personal use booklet for DURF, and I wanted to put these rules in it. Everything is pretty clear except for rules regarding gossips.
First question: as I get it, a PC can make a gossip about the NPC, but to get a buff while interacting with said NPC, they need to integrate the very same gossip about them into the talk. Which sounds... really strange.
And because of that, there's a second question -- if there's nothing wrong with the way gossips work, then... what are gossips? How do you act them out during the play?
And the least important question: inventory slots are mentioned in the rules, but nothing in the rules uses them. A clarification could be great.
You could redo the rules, but the original intent seems interesting!
